In Malaysia yesterday, popular blogger Raja Petra Kamaruddin, Sin Chew Daily reporter Tan Hoon Cheng and Seputeh MP Teresa Kok was arrested under the Internal Security Act (ISA). In addition to the arrests, three newspapers - Sin Chew Daily, The Sun and Suara Keadilan - were also issued show cause letters.

The arrests have raised much concern from politicians and NGOs alike. Raja Petra’s wife, Marina Lee, has however called for calm. Watch out for updates at Malaysiakini, Anilnetto and New Malaysia among others.
